Guys just wanna thank you all for staying tuned in so closely lately. Videos are doing awesome, the team is killin it, I’m fired up!!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸

      1. Robert Longo

11:50 You are in the process of building a car. At this point, why not add a crush cell directly in front of the oil pan. It is basically a box made of aluminum that is designed to take the majority of the hit, if you do stand it on two wheels.

      2. 670fastcrf

Just wait till Kevin "scales" ya later!! Ha ha just kiddin brother great content! You guys are Killin it 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇲🦅

      3. David Fruits

SAY HELL TO THE YEAH FOR FIRED UP !!

      4. Dave Froman

IF you could find a topper for it you could get away without the trailer I bet.

      5. Buchanan Sleeve

Great videos, great builds what more could a guy want to see. Keep up the good work God Bless.

    2. Michael Fowler

Watching your channel is kind of like Mr Rodgers only better for adults LOL

    3. brannon payne

The elco needs a ladder rack for race week.

    4. Adam C

this is going to be for the strip or burnouts?

    5. K0ST

      ✌🏼

    6. 4040pmora

      Kevin thinks of everything!

    7. SumDum Fooka

The Elco is the most bad ass car. Wish I had one.

    8. Kyle Brace

Who car is this is it your own car or someone Ells

    9. Kyle Brace

Wow this thing looks incredible really can’t wait to see what this is going to be come and how fast is this going to be would be really cool to see a new fastest car in the fleet and the L Camino could definitely be that that car so please let’s make this over 1500 bhp

    10. GaryLordsWayMinistry

Man it looks like that oil pan is going to be history if it wheelies and comes down hard. That is why I like wheelie bars to keep it from happening or at least trying to keep it from happening and ruining the track for everyone behind you.

    11. John Webber

Hey Cleetus, My comment is a little late, but as I watched Kevin talk about the trans cooler, I wanted to suggest that you take extra measures to protect the bottom of the oil pan in the event you pull a wheelie. As I suggested before on another video, have Kevin make a slam proof cage around the oil pan so you don't have to weld up the oil pan at the strip. I suggest you design a full protective cage around the oil pan that can be removed and installed quickly should you need to do any work on the bottom of the car.

    12. livinthedream92109

Cleetus and Kevin are a great combination in videos: Kevin with his attention to detail and creativity, and cleetus keeping it fun, light, and always moving on. What a great balance.

    13. SoFLaZ06

      Sheshh, what an awesome build

    14. That One Car Guy

What engine is in the elco right now i can‘t remember where cleeter said it

    15. Chris Bradley

How much does a carbon drive shaft like that cost?

    16. Sebastian Scarpaci

why don't they get wheelie bars so they can leave with more power.

    17. Ryan McCormick

It needs the Grand National nose swap!

    18. Semper Fi

Please........No wheelies!!! There expensive and they don't win races.

    19. Suerte DE REY

      Catch pan?

    20. appll allpp

      el chromomino is better

    21. 4BangerTV

You should get a cap to put on the bed of it so when you go on race week and stuff, you can put that on and you can stack some things in the bed so it is able to hold more and less likely need a trailer

    22. Tim graham

Cleet.. You mean completion? If so I'll take a shirt. Thanks

    23. Tony Crack

Matt the El Chromino owner is gonna be really jealous. An absolute beauty of a build.

    24. thedizzle 27t

kevin is killing it with this setup, i cant wait to see it rip!

    25. Petes garage

    26. Hemi vs. Ninja

Wheelie bars must be against class rules or something because none of the cars have them which would easily solve the wheelie problem

    27. Jonathan Larsson

A camper shell would look awesome on Mullet during Drag Week! Might even be able to fit everything without having a trailer.

    28. Bryan G

Good Lord! You're gonna have to fabricate a weight to go in the back of that monster!!! Something that will bolt down ....

    29. Travis Hartley

      👍

    30. Cody Brown

Man, KSR's work is so clean.

    31. GradyRho92

Builds all out race car. Still refuses to put wheelie bar on it.

    32. Matthew Holloway

The exhaust running that close won't heat the bearings on the Turbskis?

    33. Jake Combs

nothing crazy in this video. no crazy live action. just a simple update. that’s what makes cleet the best. simple guy. love it

    34. Nathan Yost

Kevin is a true craftsman. Such attention to detail.

    35. Steve Rehfuss

      Stunning work as always Kevin!

    36. Robert Longo

11:50 You are in the process of building a car. At this point, why not add a crush cell directly in front of the oil pan. It is basically a box made of aluminum that is designed to take the majority of the hit, if you do stand it on two wheels.

    37. elcaminokid31

Sweet! I'm in the middle of doing an LS project for my El Camino. Mine's an '84 I've had for 20 years now.

    38. Nathan Powers

I am ignorant, why not just use a wheelie bar?

    39. Jannick

Maybe stupid question: Wouldn't it be easier to use a safety net from a GT3 car, they dont need the rod on top, they just klick in at the A pillar.

    40. C W

Dang it’s safe to say if I had the money..Kevin is #1 on my list to build me my dream car! His attention to detail is unreal.💯

    41. Allen Nuss

If the car is just a little tall for the stacker you can collapse the suspension with simple ratchet straps during transport and then remove them once the car is on the ground at the race track. This is a simple thing we do when cars are to tall for our race car trailer.

    42. jr loud stang

      Damn 🔥🔥🔥

    43. Stangsandrcs4life

I swear EVERYTHING Kevin touches he turns into a work of art!

    44. Holsenback

Kevin is the type of guy that genuinely loves what he does. Awesome build.

    45. Jason Domina

All business up front and a party outback.

    46. Zackary Santos

      0:39 2000hp peterbilt

    47. Henke MX

You need to do some body work on DemoRanch Elchromino while It is in the hands of Cleetus😉 because its falling apart🤣

    48. Jon K Heslekrants

Soooo amped on this Car!! Can not WAIT to see ole Cleeter Rip it!

    49. Bryce Rooney

Cleet where is your hoover boat content?!

    50. Bryce Rooney

I always forget about the elco and I'm so stoked to see this thing is f**king action!

    51. Noah Jensen

Why don’t you guys just use a wheelie bar?

    52. Tripp Rogers

How many people would rather have the technology that Kevin at KSR puts into a new car ..instead of what GM, Dodge, and Ford put in their new cars

    53. Max Walker

Kevin and KSR are building an absolutely beautiful ride!

    54. MG

Ok, when does it hit the Dyno ? Looks well built Kevin, great job.

    55. the_enthusiast

      Kevin is absolutely meticulous

    56. Lachlan Archibald

Kevin’s attention to detail is next level, and I love that he takes that much pride in his work to put out only the best results. The alco is looking unreal

    57. Robert Pilkinton

      Why not wheelie bars?

    58. Ben Chavez

Couldnt you use the front shock travel sensor for a minute fuel cut to keep the front end down?

    59. Braiden Reid

Kevin is a wizard i wish i could just watch him work for a couple weeks. I cant imagine what id learn

    60. Dom’s Dayz

      What’s his channel?

    61. jordanw2009

I saw the silver el Camino an thought this was demo ranches. Lol since his vid he released today.

    62. Unglued

      Kevin is an amazing human

    63. Ben Ferguson

      😭

    64. 670fastcrf

First space shuttle utilized 1MB of RAM... MULLET: Unfortunately I only have a million sensors that will process unlimited information in... sub 7 second 1/4 mile passes at 210mph...? #lifegoals #betterengineeringthannasa

    65. Ricardo Pesenti

Wow! This is an amazing piece of engineering!

    66. Shane Hulsey

      Witchcraft! Lol!

    67. Dylan Streeter

That’s a bad ass car. If I had the money I would get a G body Monte Carlo and get Kevin to build it.

    68. Artie Johnson

Aren't those Turbos gonna get extra hot and not work as well as they would if the exhaust would be routed a different place??? Serious question!!

    69. Cripple Bitchin

      Damn Brother !!!

    70. Tom Unexplained

Can you explain like I'm 5 how the hell a 2 step works?

      1. Tom Unexplained

@Martin Mortensen that is cool, thank you. so like pumping your foot on the throttle really really fast? Are there extra parts involved or is it all computer based? I have essentially zero experience with anything race car related. I just love following Cleetus's story, he seems genuine and it's all good fun seems like a legit good group of dudes. The 2 step is just one of the things I genuinely don't understand because I've never seen it in person, hopefully someday I can make it down to an event and see it all in person! Hell yeah brother!!

      2. Martin Mortensen

cuts out rpm at a certain rev range, makes the turbo built boost, so you have the most power on tap for launch

    71. Johnny Char

How come you don't run wheelie bars? Would that put you in a different class?

    72. Lester Laskowski

      So jealous

    73. Lester Laskowski

      😧😧😧😧😧😧

    74. Lester Laskowski

      😎😎😎😎😎

    75. Lester Laskowski

      🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤

    76. Ken Brown

Kevin is BEYOND next level shit man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    77. Ben Bowen Vlogs

Goes to hit the bump box HoNk

    78. Matthew Gulish

      mullet fit like a glove...

    79. JR 81

I’m sure that you’ve thought about it but I was just wondering that hot pipe right next to the turbo isn’t going to mess with the temp of the bearings. I’m not sure just asking. Great job man. Ps I’m talking about on long drives like at race week

    80. иїѕмөғяєдк

wow. very well thought out build! inspirational!

    81. Tavian Scharf

*a bed cap would be way cooler than just a bed cover*

    82. Broony Saint

Kevin really is a Professor of High Performance Motors

    83. mrfordfairmont

you need to put a sump protector on it as you skytune everything

    84. throttle bottle

six point belts, aka balls/weenie savers LOL. whom in the world would have ever cranked that belt down tight (likely not even a female!) certainly more comfortable for all humanity!

    85. Blake H

If you have air tanks on board.. why not put air jacks under the chassis. No need for jack or stands???

    86. throttle bottle

I have to say, all that computer magic controlled stuff is great, until it isn't :)) one little firmware/coding bug/electrical or computer glitch and hang on for a good time, because anything and everything could happen in a chain failure instantly.

    87. throttle bottle

KSR seems like a smart and inventive fella that jumps and works around hurdles quickly, seemingly backed by his team. don't lose that team of help by all means!

    88. throttle bottle

it's nice having a whole removeable front body. way easier access to all ;)

    89. BaggerBro

That car is sooooooo freaking nasty !!!!!!

    90. Ralph Pruitt

You allowed to use a wheelie bar???

    91. Doug Tond

What a fucking NERD! 🤓 I LOVE THIS GUY!!!

    92. chad myob

What size precision turbos are they?

    93. Jonathan Laboy

because they don't use an electric clutch like the AC one for the pump so they can run normal on gasoline

    94. Hockeypickles23

When you have someone that has built so many cars, you get the best of every build in one car. Everything is thought of.

    95. PantyRaiderPat

Kevin is such a talented dude. Awesome work!!

    96. koi Pond videos

I would move that hot pipe further from my turbo and have it go out somewhere else that doesn’t mess with taking in the cold air near by

    97. M. M.

Is this for Kamikaze Chris on street outlaws 🤔😁.

    98. Jesse Burge

I really hope your using straight methanol so you can save weight for the radiator

    99. ownologer

air jacks? since its going to have an onboard air tank/compressor?

    100. Lorenzo Cabason

I am so excited for this build !
